The Towamencin Volunteer Fire Company has recently placed in service a new engine. CHASSIS: Spartan Gladiator Classic with seating for 6 , ENGINE: Detroit Series 60 - 515 HP, PUMP: Hale QTWO - 1500 GPM, OPERATOR'S PANEL: Side Mount, WATER TANK: 750 Gallon Poly, FOAM TANK: 20 Gallon (Integral), FOAM SYSTEM: Panel-Mounted Eductor, NFPA LIGHTING: Whelen, GENERATOR: 10,000 Watt Hydraulic, FEATURES: Roll-Up Doors on Body Compartments, Automatic Snow Chains on Rear Axle, Red Vinyl Hose Bed Tarp, Traffic Advisor Traffic Control Light, 4 Guys Hydraulic Ladder Bracket, Officer's Side, (1) Suction Hose Mounted over Left Compartments, (1) Suction Hose Mounted on Ladder Rack, Rear Vision Camera System, (2) 1500W/240V Quartz Lights at Panel, (1) 1000W/120V Quartz Brow Light over Windshield, (1) 500W/120V Recessed Quartz Light, Rear of Unit, (2) 750W120V Quartz Tripod Lights, in Rear Compartment, Electric Rewind Reel to hold 200' of Electric Cord. The Engine will carry 1200 feet of 5 inch, a preconnected ground monitor, blitz line, preconnected deck gun and is equipped with front suction. It will function as an engine and does not carry any rescue tools.
