Details:

Around 15:15 hrs Camden City Units were dispatched to the area of Copewood St. and Davis St. for a smoke showing from a building. Battalion 1 (Harper) arrived and reported smoke showing. Battalion 1 requested all hands struck and Car 3 (Rossi). Squad 7 forced entry and investigated. Crews made a quick knock of the fire and it was placed U/C quickly. No injuries were reported and the FM is investigating.

Station dispatched for an alarm system. Box upgraded for reports of smoke in the building. Chief arrived with smoke showing from the building striking the all hands. Squad 16 secured a water supply and placed a hand line in operation to find fire conditions in the basement of the 3 story apartment building. 3 1 3/4" hand lines were placed in operation. No injuries reported.

Ladder 3 arrived with a 2 story M/O/R with heavy fire 2nd floor striking the all hands. Engine 11 led off with a 2 1/2 hand line. Ladder 3 opened the roof as a 2nd line was placed in operation. Fire placed under control at 21:10.

District 22 units were dispatched to a dwelling across from number 70 Radnor Blvd. for a reported car vs. building. Ambulance 2291 arrived with one vehicle half way into a dwelling. 2210 held with 2211, 2218 and 2291 for structure assessment. The driver of the vehicle was placed into police custody at the scene.

Details:

At approximately 1504 hours, Task Force 3610 along with Station 369, Engine 391 and RIT 311 were dispatched to 154 Memorial Lane for a reported dwelling fire. At 1506 hours, Central Communications advised the responding units that they received several calls for a working garage fire. The MLPD also confirmed the report. Upon seeing a column in the sky, Chief 3603 placed all companies in service. First arriving units reported heavy fire showing from the garage with extension to the floors above. Initial crews started to make entry into the dwelling but the evacuation tones were quickly sounded. Q3614's master stream was placed into service as several handlines were also utilized to knock down the fire from the exterior of the dwelling. The fire was placed U/C within the hour. One (1) firefighter was transported to the hospital for cardiac related problems.

After further investigation the chief had an active kitchen fire extending. Engine 2212 was first due and went in service with a inch and three quarter line and made quick work of the fire. Ladder 28 ventilated the dwelling, Engine 2832 provided water supply, Rescue Co. 1038 provided RIT. Mantua Twp. FI on scene for investigation

2900 on location with a dump truck fully involved. Command had down poles and wires with a van and one victim trapped. Command requested the box to be upgraded to a rescue and hazmat assignment. Squad 32 and Hazmat 13 where dispatch to the seen. Also the county foam task force. Squad 32 supplied Engine 291 and Foam Tender 13. Foam 13 used an 1 3/4 hand line to extinguish the dump truck. One firefighter was transported to the hospital for a small foot injury.
